WEST MILTON — The Milton-Union Community Chest is accepting donations for its fall campaign.
The purpose of the Milton-Union Community Chest is to assist organizations and citizens of Union Township. Since its inception in 1944, the Community Chest has existed to serve the people of West Milton and the surrounding community.
Past disbursements from the Community Chest have gone to organizations that serve Union Township such as Milton-Union Council of Churches, the Family Abuse Shelter of Miami County, Junior Teen Institute, Young Spirits, Miami County Red Cross, and the Rehabilitation Center of Piqua.
The Community Chest is a 501(c)(3) as defined by the Internal Revenue Service. Any contribution to the Community Chest is tax-deductible and donors will receive a receipt for giving. In addition, donors can give through payroll deduction if it is available through their employer.
