TIPP CITY — Community Minded Women recently awarded two $1,000 scholarship to 2016 Tippecanoe High School graduating seniors, Alexandra Davis and Alexis Brame.

Davis is the daughter of Ronald and Hope Davis of Tipp City. While at Tippecanoe High School, Davis competed in varisty track and field, varsity gymnastics, cross country, and science fairs. Other activities included National Honor Society, Model United Nations, Interact Club, volunteering at soup kitchens and retirement communities, as well as working a part time job.

Davis has chosen to attend Bowling Green State University to study to become a secondary life and earth sciences teacher.

Brame is the daughter of Jayne Lewis of Tipp City. While at Tippecanoe High School, Brame participated in symphonic choir (four years), tennis (three years), Octagon Club, Drama Club, and National Honor Society. Other activities included the second and third grade foreign language program, blood drive volunteer, and working two part time jobs.

Brame has chosen to attend Sinclair to begin her studies toward a major in psychology.
