Beagle honored for development efforts

COLUMBUS — State Senator Bill Beagle (R-Tipp City) on Wednesday received the Public Sector Leader Award from the Greater Ohio Policy Center for championing sustainable workforce, community and economic development policies in the Ohio Senate.

“It’s truly an honor to accept this award,” Senator Beagle said. “I look forward to continuing our efforts in the Ohio Senate to create sustainable workforce and economic development policies that spur long-term investment and attract job-creators to Ohio’s vibrant communities.”

The award recognizes a public sector individual or entity exemplifying outstanding leadership and innovation in advancing policies or programs that incentivize and enable community reinvestment and sustainable development in Ohio’s cities and regions.

Senator Bill Beagle serves the people of Ohio’s 5th Senate District, which includes Miami and Preble counties as well as portions of Montgomery and Darke Counties and is chair of the Senate’s Finance subcommittee on Workforce.
