TROY — Charles “Bob” R. Cissner, Age 75, of Troy, formerly of Ludlow Falls, passed away August 8, 2015 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit.
He was born November 18, 1939 to the late Charles & Vivian (Randall) Cissner in Piqua, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Joy Cissner.
He will be missed and remembered by his wife Lydiann (Carlson) Cissner of Troy; children Karen (Daniel) Hartman of Tipp City, Kay Tyler of Laura, Kathi (Brent) Woodlan of Middletown, and Kevin Cissner of Arcanum; grandchildren Christian & Bronte Woodlan, Erica & Rebekah Hartman, Kaitlynne Cissner, and Brooklynne & Austin Tyler; brother Larry (JoAnn) Cissner of Piqua; and dear friend and caregiver Denise Garland.
Bob loved painting and art, watching baseball on television and previously attended Pleasant View Missionary Church.
Funeral services were held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with Scott Hobbs & Pastor Mark Korf officiating. Burial followed at Potsdam Cemetery. The family received friends from 10 AM- 12 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
