High school can be repurposed

To the Editor:

As an alumnus of Tippecanoe High School ’63, I’m dumbfounded that anyone would want to raze what is arguably the most venerated building in Tipp City.

Generations of graduates have gone through those doors and the old yearbooks show it when it was beautiful. I believe the building could be turned into a cultural center for the entire community.

With a slight revamping of the building to allow for ramps and elevators, the old school could come alive again.

Am I alone in feeling like this?
