Information provided by the Troy Police Department:
THEFT: An officer responded to Kohl’s for a report of a theft. The male subject had stolen shoes on at the scene and was cited.
NO MOTORCYCLE LICENSE: Brian Roop was cited for operating a motorcycle without a valid motorcycle endorsement.
THEFT: An employee from Sally’s Beauty Supply reported a black female stole two hair straighteners from the store. Case pending.
FAKE BILL: An employee reported a counterfeit bill was passed at Buffalo Wild Wings.
OVI: A driver was stopped following a report of a traffic crashed. Charged with OVI.
FIGHT: A fight between two males at the United Dairy Farmers was reported. One subject was charged with disorderly conduct.
THEFT: A report of more than 500 feet of cellular tower cable was reported stolen from the area of Henley Road.
MOTORCYCLE FIRE: Ronald Terrell lost his footing of his 2001 Harley Davidson and it fell over on the right side and caught on fire. The motorcycle was towed from the scene.
THEFT: A report of money missing was filed at the Brookdale Assisted Living facility. Money was kept in an area where multiple people had access.
OVI: An officer arrested the driver of a silver Ford F-150 for an OVI. The driver was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The traffic stop was at West Race and South Short streets.
TRAFFIC STOP: An officer stopped a vehicle for failing to stop violation. The driver was found to be in possession of a marijuana pipe and was charged for both offenses.
LITTERING: Jerry Mullins filed a littering complaint in the 800 block of Cartwright Court. A juvenile was charged.
ANIMAL ISSUE: A resident advised a raccoon would not run off his property and it appeared to be foaming at the mouth at times. An officer put the animal down and disposed of it at the city dump.
PHYSICAL CONTROL: A male was charged with physical control in the 100 block of Drury Lane.
ARREST: Jason Smith was arrested at the Waffle House for disorderly conduct.
