Duringthe party, which has admission of $5, students will be having live bands (Beesly and Austin Labig), an open mic and spoken word event, a costume contest, a silent art show auction, games and a zombie walk before the party.

The Zombie Walk is free and will begin at 5 p.m. at the Tipp City United Methodist Church, located at 8 W. Main St., and end at the Tipp City Roller Mill Halloween party.

There will be an opportunity for the public to be “zombified” by a makeup artists beginning at 3 p.m. outside in the church parking lot. Come dressed in your best zombie gear and be prepared to be transformed. The cost is $10 for full makeup and $5 for just a bit of gore.

Musicians and writers are sought to participate in the open nic and spoken word event from 8-10 pm.

The group also is accepting submissions from artists for a silent art auction. The theme is “Dreams and Nightmares” and the art can be of any medium.
