WEST MILTON — The 10th annual Hoffman United Methodist Church Art Show took place in West Milton Oct. 14 – 16. Approximately 200 attendees had the opportunity to vote on their three favorite pieces among the 99 on display.

When the People’s Choice ballots from all three days were tallied the winners were: first place Regina Whipp for “Equine Royalty”, $500; second place Debby Gregory for “Cooper Jr.,” $400; third place George Stum for “Life Among the Leaves,” $300.

Those receiving $100 awards were: Kay Cress for “Confederate Soldier,” Mark Hawk for “Roebelling Bridge,” Heath Javier for “Untitled,” Bill Linville for “The Carpenter,” Lori Meyer for “Ebbert’s Elevator,” Rita Orre for “Old Mill Barn,” Bonnie Peer for “Wild at Heart,” and Elaine Perkins for “Inner Glow.”

The show committee extends a special thank you to Bill Netzley of Netzley Roofing for the prize money donation of $2,000. Thanks also are due to those who placed items in the Silent Auction. And thanks to Bob Menker of Patterson’s Flowers for providing the variety of beautiful plants placed throughout the show.

The committee would especially like to thank all the participants, as well as all those who attended, for allowing us another successful show.
