TIPP CITY — LT Ball Intermediate School held its annual year-end awards program on May 27, 2016.

Academic, service, and other honors were presented.

Honored for receiving the Principal’s Academic Award for attaining all A’s in all four quarters for the 2015-2016 school year were:

Art Awards: Hannah Wildermuth in fifth grade and Andrew Oen in fourth grade created artwork that was selected for the school’s permanent collection.

Miami County, District and State Participants in Science Fair, fifth Grade:

Miami County Science Fair Participants were: Kennedy Chaney, Evan Greth, Olivia Gustavan, Kessler Hackenberger, Reagan Hull, Gracie Kinsman, Sofia Maggard, Owen Pleiman, ella Shuchat, Ted Thompson, and Hannah Wildermuth.

Invention Convention Participants at Ohio Southwest Regional were:

Fourth Grade: Ava Potts, Maddox Sivon, Ellie Waibel, and Amber Weldon.

Fifth Grade: Alexandria foster, Katie Goldschmidt and Jianna Nichols

National Invention Convention Participant: Jianna Nichols

Relay for Life 5K Top 3 student runners were: Boys: Michael Lyons (19:31), Kalib Tolle (21:25) and Jack Wyant (24:46)

Girls: Shelby Hept (22:21), Emma Conley (22:36), and Aly Schellhouse (25:32)

The following students received a first place in the Quiz Bowl Local School Competition:
