Milton man held on $200,000 bond for drug possession



TROY — Quinton Niswonger, 33, of West Milton, was arraigned on charges of second-degree felony possession of LSD in Miami County Municipal Court on Monday.

His bond was set at $244,000 on all charges.

Niswonger was also arraigned on other charges, including four counts of fifth-degree felony possession of schedule 1 or 2 drugs, and four counts first-degree misdemeanor drug possession or abuse.

A preliminary hearing was set for Feb. 16 with Judge Gary Nasal presiding. Niswonger remains incarcerated in the Miami County Jail.

A search warrant for Niswonger’s residence at 455 W. Hayes St., West Milton, was obtained by the Troy Police Department on Feb. 1. A few items recovered in the search of Niswonger’s home included acid blotter paper, marijuana pipes and bongs, a safe with prescription anti-anxiety medication, computers, heroin, digital scales, psychedelic mushrooms, suspected meth rocks, and more than $1,000 in cash.

According to Troy Police Department Captain Jeff Kunkleman, the investigation is still pending.
