URBANA — Katie Lynn Mengos of Troy, and Joseph Clyde Taylor of Urbana, were married at 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, at the Urbana Christian Conference Center, Urbana, with Pastor Shawn Hess officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Nick and Therese Mengos of Troy. The groom’s parents are Jim and Janet Taylor of Troy.
The bride was given in marriage by her father Nick Mengos.
The bride’s maid of honor was Hannah Mengos, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Katie Pitts, Julie Flory, Joanna Hiatt and Hannah Long.
The groom’s best man was Andrew Christian. Groomsmen were Levi Worthington, Jason Flory, Jacob Vitt and Luke Mengos. The ring bearers were Brooks and Cole Flory.
The Soriano Duo provided music for the ceremony.
A reception was held at the Urbana Christian Conference Center, Urbana.
The bride graduated from Ohio Northern University, Ada, with a Doctor of Pharmacy. She is a pharmacist at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Fairborn.
The groom is a graduate of The Ohio State University, Columbus, with a masters degree in Education. He is a teacher and coach for the West Liberty Salem School District, West Liberty, Ohio.
The couple honeymooned at the Moorea Pearl Resort, French Polynesia.
They will reside in Urbana.
