Jacksons celebrating 60th anniversary

TROY — Jerry and Janet Jackson will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on June 15, 2017.

They were married at Salem Church of the Brethren.

Jerry has been a farmer all his life and also retired from TWA. He worked at both the Dayton and St. Louis hubs. In his earlier years of farming, Jerry fed out many semi loads of cattle. He has covered countless acres on a tractor, and still helps on the family farm today.

Janet is a homemaker and also worked at Hobart Corp. for several years. Many people have enjoyed Janet’s wonderful cooking, visits, and hospitality.

Their love of family has always been a priority in their lives. During the time that they lived in St. Louis, Jerry and Janet would commute home almost every weekend just to be with their family.

They live in the Troy/West Milton area, just down the road from where they raised their three children. Children include the late Julie Morrow, the late Jerry Lee Jackson, Joy Jackson Lee of Tipp City, and Joe and Cheryl Jackson of Troy; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jerry and Janet are members of the Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren.

For friends and family who would like to send them a card to celebrate this occasion, you may address it to Jerry and Janet Jackson, 4180 Monroe Concord Road, Troy, OH 45373.
