TIPP CITY — Tipp Monroe Community Services is again teaming up with the Tipp City Police Department to offer self defense classes for women and girls ages 12 and up.

There are four classes that will be held on July 24, 25, 31, and Aug. 1 from 6:30-9 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church. Participants are required to attend all four classes.

The RAD system is a comprehensive course for women that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and avoidance and progresses to the basics of hands-on self-defense.

The instructors are Stephanie Black and Corey Rismiller from the Tipp City Police Department. They have been teaching this class for 12 years.

There is no charge for this class but pre-registration is required. Please call 937-667-8631 to register. Don’t wait — this class fills up quickly.
