UA students make dean’s list

AKRON — Congratulations to more than 3,300 students who made the spring 2017 dean’s list at The University of Akron, including Jaclyn Siefring of Covington, majoring in Biomedical Engineering.

To be eligible, an undergraduate student needed to maintain a semester GPA of 3.500-3.999, and be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours.

Anderson named to Wheaton dean’s list

WHEATON, Ill. — Wheaton College student Lauren Anderson of Troy was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2017 semester.

To earn dean’s list honors at Wheaton, an undergraduate student must carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.

Students graduate from Muskingum

NEW CONCORD — The following area students graduated from Muskingum University on May 6 during commencement exercises held on the campus in New Concord. Heidi Snipes of Covington majored in Business Management and Marketing. Haley Dotson of Piqua majored in Business Management and Marketing. Kristin Mace of Tipp City majored in Psychology.

UA announces dean’s and president’s lists

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — A total of 11,101 students enrolled during the 2017 spring semester at The University of Alabama were named to the dean’s list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president’s list with an academic record of 4.0, including Tipp City natives Brittany Bowerman, dean’s list, and Dylan Clapper, president’s list.

Zamzow named to dean’s list

MILWAUKEE, Wisc. — Kady Zamzow, a senior from Troy, has been named to Wisconsin Lutheran College’s dean’s list for the spring 2017 semester. To be eligible for dean’s list, a student must carry a semester GPA of 3.6 or higher.

Students named to Baldwin Wallace dean’s list

BEREA — The following local students have been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2017 semester at Baldwin Wallace University, according to Stephen D. Stahl, Provost: Cheryl Bell of Piqua, majoring in sport management, and Brandon Wysong of Bradford, majoring in early childhood education.
