TIPP CITY — Tipp City Area United Way’s 2017 annual campaign is underway and community support is needed to achieve our goal of $165,000.00.
The citizens of Tipp City, Monroe Township and Bethel Township have supported the Tipp City Area United Way since 1943. Each United Way is independent but raises its funds as part of a united appeal to support local charitable, health and welfare agencies to enhance the quality of life of the community, campaign chair Phil Cox said.
“As a Board member and on behalf of our affiliated agencies, we appreciate the sincere, honest, and generous support of individuals, families and the businesses community. We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone,” Cox said.
Randy Oyster, co-Campaign Chair added that the funds raised are vital for the key financial support provided to the 18 Partner Agencies in the Tipp City, Monroe, and Bethel Township areas.
“We are focused on achieving, or beating, our campaign goal with the help from local businesses, organizations, and individuals. With your help, we can make our community support services stronger and better than ever,” Oyster said.
Each local United Way is working to advance the common good by focusing on education, financial stability and health. The United Way knows that a quality education that leads to a stable job with enough income to support your family through retirement and good health are the building blocks to a better life.
The United Way supports programs operated by trusted, local nonprofit organizations, and asks that you to give where you live, give where you work, and keep it in the community. Every single dollar counts, and makes a real difference.
