July 11

AGGRAVATED MENACING: Deputies were dispatched to Woodhaven Avenue, Staunton Twp. reference a disturbance in progress. A woman was threatening family members with violence and driving erratically through the lawn endangering children at play. The investigation revealed Kelley was yelling threats toward her mother and her actions caused her sister to believe she would seriously injure her, her mother and her children. Kelley had fled the area prior to our arrival.

Charges were filed against Kelley Flanary, 36, Troy, for domestic, aggravated menacing and criminal damaging.

July 13

OVERDOSE: A 35 year-old female was found unresponsive in the 5200 block of North Walnut Street, Covington. She revived by Narcan was transported by squad to UVMC.

July 14

THEFT: A trailer was taken from the work site at West Peterson Road. The owner of the Eagle Bridge Company said the last time it was seen was at 4:30 p.m. the day before.

SUSPICIOUS: A resident in the 5900 block of Sterling Court, Monroe Twp. reported a suspicious red Dodge Ram truck in the area.

July 15

THEFT: A resident in the 4500 block of County Road 25-A, Washington Twp. reported his truck was broken into overnight. Nothing was stolen.

SUSPICIOUS: A resident in the 1300 block of Evanston Road, Monroe Twp. called in reference to a suspicious vehicle at her residence on July 14, 2017 around 11: 30 a.m. She stated a red Dodge Ram truck pulled up in front of her residence while she was outside with her children. There was two white males in the truck, and the passenger got out and approached her. She described him as younger, short dark hair, and unshaved, but no beard. The male subject inquired about re-sealing her driveway. They spoke for a few minutes and she denied needing their services. She was not able to provide a description of the driver of the truck. The deputy asked her if she obtained a license plate on the truck, which she did not. She did describe the truck as newer and in good shape that was all she could remember.

THEFT: A theft was reported in the 3890 Ginghamsburg Frederick Road, Monroe Twp.

PURSE MISSING: A woman reported leaving her purse at the Charleston Falls park. The purse was not in the area where she believed she left it.

July 16

MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT: Miami County Sheriff’s Office responded to a pick-up versus motorcycle accident in the intersection of W. Hayes and Jay Street, West Milton. Case is pending.

STOLEN TRUCK: A white Nissan truck was reported stolen in the area of 4200 block of State Route 48, Covington.

July 17

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A report of criminal damaging was reported at the David L. Brown Youth Center.

PROPERTY DAMAGE: A report of a Miami County Park District vehicle damaged on July 11 was reported.

ASSAULT: Miami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Rakestraw and Mulberry Grove roads on a report of a female driver attempting to hit a male with her vehicle. After an investigation, the male subject was on parole and fled from the scene. The female was questioned and denied trying to strike the male with her car. She said they got in an argument and made him exit the car.

JAIL ISSUE: An inmate was charged with conveyance into an incarceration facility after a drug instrument was found on her person. Jade Lohnes,28, of Dayton, was charged accordingly.
