TIPP CITY — In an effort to provide an additional opportunity for two-way communication and better engage the community, Tipp City Schools is hosting a Meet and Greet with its administrators from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Aug. 8 at Tippecanoe High School.
“We want students, parents, and other community members to have an opportunity to get acquainted with our building principals and district leaders,” Superintendent Dr. Gretta Kumpf said.
This includes Steve Verhoff as the high school principal, JD Foust as the high school athletic director, Clayton Lavercombe as the middle school assistant principal and athletic director, and Katy Barker as the principal for Nevin Coppock Elementary School.
The informal gathering is a chance to talk with administrators and hear their visions for students.
“It’s also a great way to welcome four new administrators to their roles,” added Kumpf.
Broadway Elementary School’s principal Tina Smith, LT Ball Intermediate’s principal Mike Vagedes, and Tippecanoe Middle School principal Greg Southers will also be on hand to talk and answer questions.
Superintendent Kumpf and Assistant Superintendent Galen Gingerich said they look forward to welcoming the community to the meet and greet. They hope to make this an annual event.
Guests should enter the event through the athletic entrance located to the left of the main doors.
