BGSU announces honor students

BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University has announced the names of Miami County residents who have been named to the spring semester 215 dean’s list. They include:

Wittenberg announces spring dean’s List

SPRINGFIELD — Committed to academic excellence, Wittenberg University regularly recognizes students who maintain high educational standards. The following students maintained a 3.5 or higher grade point average for the 2015 spring semester and earned a place on the dean’s list:

Tipp City — Rhyanna Hallauer and Carlie Weir.

Stocker graduates

SPRINGFIELD — Wittenberg University celebrated the accomplished class of 2015 during the 170th year commencement exercises May 16. University President Laurie Joyner conferred degrees on more than 425 students, including:

Kara Stocker of Tipp City graduated with a bachelor of arts in education.

Eastern Mennonite University recognizes grads

HARRISONBURG, Va. — The following students were recognized as members of the 2015 graduating class of Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Va., on Sunday, April 26.

Jennifer Heishman of Tipp City graduated with a bachelor of arts in English and environmental sustainability.
